I've been to Koh Lipe twice. On Nov 2012, and the recent July 2014. Noticed some changes in the island therefore I combine the post together. Let's start with Nov 2012 trip for 2. It was a month ago, when we went for Perhentian Trip.  We fly over from Penang to Kota Bharu via Firefly.  The girls managed to bought it at RM100 promotion price for round trip.  As for me, it isn't that bad, I just topped up around RM30 extra, as I joined in last minute after confirming that I am coming back to Penang for good.  So, I booked through a travel agent called Depenarik Beach Tour Sdn Bhd, which is a forummer in LYN. I was quoted RM490/person for quad room, with fullboard tour of snorkeling with gears and all meals were included.
