Perhentian 140314 - 1500314

It was a month ago, when we went for Perhentian Trip.
We fly over from Penang to Kota Bharu via Firefly.

The girls managed to bought it at RM100 promotion price for round trip.
As for me, it isn't that bad, I just topped up around RM30 extra, as I joined in last minute after confirming that I am coming back to Penang for good.

So, I booked through a travel agent called Depenarik Beach Tour Sdn Bhd, which is a forummer in LYN. I was quoted RM490/person for quad room, with fullboard tour of snorkeling with gears and all meals were included. We asked for ground trip from airport, and we were quoted at RM300 round trip for 8 of us.

So the date that we are looking forward for so long finally is here.

The driver met us at the airport with my name written on the board, and here we go to the jetty~

Checked in to our resort.

Here's the view from our room.

The beautiful beach view. How could I not love beach! xD

And taking photos on the deck after our lunch.

Some group photos taken.

My favourite pose when I go to the beach. Had been gaining some weight actually :(

Out we go to snorkel!!

First stop, training and getting used to snorkel mask by the shore nearby

Fish feeding.

2nd stop, shark point! The corals here are so beautiful! Same goes to the fishes!!  Magnifique (French - beautiful)!! And the guide guided us to swim further to the deeper area, where we managed to catch a glimpse of the shark. I only manage to see it once, but they managed to catch the 2nd glimpse when the shark swam in front of them.

And we have 3rd stop actually, just that there's no photo taken. We went for turtle viewing as well. Peik See and Boey managed to touch and get upclose with the turtle!! Jealous!!

Came back tired after swimming in the sea, and we were greeted with this beautiful sunset view from our room.

We took our buffet dinner and went to the beach for some night strolling, relax while listening to the waves. The weather was good that night.

On day 2, we are going to Pulau Redang and Pulau Lang Tengah for snorkeling.
The weather wasn't very good that day, it was raining and strong current.
It took an hour boat ride from our resort to Marina Park Redang.
When we reached there, we were so tired, due to the bumpy road with strong waves.

Based on my last visit on 2007, I personally feel that this marina park is getting worse, where most of the corals are dead and there isn't many beautiful fishes around :(

We had our lunch at Pulau Redang and we are allowed to hang out around the beach before going to the next destination.

How I wish I could do like this everyday :P

Laguna Redang, where I stayed on 2007, it is one of the best resort here in Pulau Redang, and of course the cost also goes together. It is not cheap to stay at Laguna Redang resort.

Being photobombed!

Just right after I took this photo, it rained very heavily and and we ran to the hut nearby.

We waited for some time for the guide to signal us to go to the next destination.
Our next destination was the best experience ever. It was raining very heavily with serious strong current. The guide was expert enough for avoiding a lot of waves, although we had serious bumpy boat on the strong waves. There was one scary waves where the guide tried to avoid, but unfortunately he turned too much, that the boat almost flipped. Everyone screamed and it really freaked me out. I kept thank God that the boat didn't flipped. And luckily I grabbed the steel so hard, else I would had fall into the deep rough sea!

The guide said that he couldn't see Pulau Perhentian, therefore he decided to stopped at Pulau Lang Tengah for some rest, while waiting for the rain to slow down. We didn't manage to take any photos as all our belongings are in the boat.

When the sea gets better, we continued our journey. The guide said we should stop by the shore as there's hot water. But we were cheated by him, and it was actually cold water. We couldn't deny that the ice cold water was really nice after soaked with salty sea water for whole day.

We asked the guide to take us to Perhentian Kecil to have a look, but they don't look nice for me, perhaps due to the bad weather.
This is Long Beach Perhentian Kecil, the waves are so rough here!!

The 3rd day was our last day. With heavy heart, we had to go check out.
Took some photos with our pario xD
Back to the mainland, we asked the driver to take us to one of the biggest Buddha statue.
The wishing tree.

The departure back. Took a group photo before going back.

Looking forward for the next trip together again~

XoXo. Love you girls~!!!
