NZWH Day 2, Auckland : Skycity , Dress Smart

Check out time is at 9:45am, woke up at 8:30am, still feeling sleepy. Perhaps we havent adapt to the time yet.

Packed, n took our healthy breakfast. My 1st backpack hostel outdoor view, the toilet is just beside our room.

The weather today is colder, more wind and a little bit of rain.

We moved to next backpacker hostel, as it provided free wifi, has bed dorm space.
The manager introduced us to go to Dress Smart.
It is a factory outlet, where they have discounts for all fashion apparels.

We took the green link bus to city to Skytower and board a shuttle bus at Skycity.
Wong Kok Char Chan Teng at Auckland City

You may get the time from Skycity receptionist. We boarded the 12:30pm bus.
OTW to Dress Smart. It was raining.

Reached after around 45 minutes, and we took our lunch there. McD! LOL

We didn't even have enough time shopping there!! Bought a windbreaker at price of $89.90.

The promoter saw and said," Thats cute! You bought the kids size, you are so tiny!"
Well good for me, coz i can get cheaper price. Thats the advantage of being tiny =P

I need a good backpack, so I got one Coleman's 30L for $50. I guess it's a good bargain with original Coleman.

I wanted to get a sport long pants, but too bad, we are running outta time, so I didn't manage to try or look any pants. The last bus depart from Dress Smart at 4pm. Reached Skycity around 4:30pm.

Went in to Skycity for a walk, since there is much time left before going back, and saw casino.. Decided to pay a visit there.

Well, kids can enter casino here.

When we walked around, we saw the cheapest food available there is pork braised noodle at $6.90. Without hesitating, we took our dinner there :D

Went out to catcha green link bus to New World outside SkyCity.
View of Skycity from bottom.

Bought our groceries, plus with my EPO ($23.15 180 tablets of 1000mg) and my body wash 400ml NZ brand at $3.99. and total of groceries price $48.52.

Walked back with tired mood, and took a bath.
Got to know a Japanese guy, name Riki, who is on working holiday. He was sick today, and he is working at Japanese Restaurant as a waiter. He went to Aussie for studies as well. And he's working another part time every morning in this hostel as cleaner, cleaning the hostels. Hardworking guy huh.

Also, we got to know a guy from Shanghai, Xiang Fei. He worked in a Chinese restaurant and was paid $9/hour! Then he changed his job as dish washer as $19/hour, but sadly, he said he's very tired of washing. He just worked for 1 ++ weeks and his had is in pain. Pity him.
Well, he's a good guy and will go to Mount Eden with us tomorrow morning by driving, since he has a car. =DD

First time sleeping in a 8 dorm bed, with stranger guys! Good experience thou!
